first 4 passes on 06 zx14
1.68 60 ft 4.25 6.39@113.47 8.27 9.87@140.40
1.68 4.31 6.43@116.62 8.28 9.87@140.83
1.58 4.14 6.23@117.27 8.06 9.64@142.03
1.60 4.20 6.32@116.62 8.16 9.73@142.88
First pass, loose nut in the seat would not shift into third.
second pass didn't let the clutch go.
third pass , on the right track.
fourth pass , big long wheelie.
I know I have work to do but with less than 10 passes all year and the first time ever down the track on a zx14 I can see hope. 205lbs in street cloths. 87 octane
stock engine, gen 3 , pc3 , 4" bolt-ons, 42 rear sprocket, lowered front, dirt bike rear.
My mapping has to be off. two other stock zx14s were running 121-124 in the 8th
and 146-148mph with 180-200lbs riders.
The PC died at the ticket booth on the last pass and would not restart.
Maybe it was going all night, the bike fells smoother and faster without it.

you were pretty consistent, but mph looks way down like you say.
i betcha you were not exactly thrilled 
should try a pass without the PC, eh?

I was 216 in street closths with Brocks track map and Smeg would run 121 to 123 in 1/8 and 150 to 153 in 1/4 on 87 pump gas. So I say you pc was going or you were not getting the trottle open son enough. with a 1.58 60 ft you should have been able to go a low 9.40 to high 9.30.

I "think" it was the bike because of how consistant the mph is from pass to pass and how much better the bike ran without the pc.
I'm going to make a few changes.

Karl, Not really upset. My original goal was 9.99 first time out. which I did.
I had never tried to launch a zx14 before so I knew my 60 would be off. I really expected much better mph, but I believe the pc caused that.
Gear, map, and a little shock work then we can see the real deal.

I was a 16 tooth in the front, Brocks map should get you way more mph then that, so if your pc does not help just make sure your getting to wide open and don't take this the wrong way, not busting on your riding, but I've helped more then one person who thought they where wide open and were'nt. I had a buddy and we had Busa's set up the same and I would run 9.80's and he would only go 10.20's every pass was super consistant but slow. So I parked my bike and went and watched him for a couple runs and noticed he was not going to wide open, he thought he was, next pass he went 9.79.
