I had something like that happen in Memphis a few years back at a Prostar event. They got the skylift cranes on the track, at the finish line, and as soon as I went to slow down, my front end went out, we think maybe some hydraulic fluid in the right spot at the right time got me........., it happens just that fast..........
Glad he is okay. I had a hair line crack in my shoulder blade........ , and a couple of small burns.........

He was racing Chris Cason, looks like Chris could use a little tuning on the controller.
It sure looked like a real handful, Ed had him right from the gate though.

Good testemant to gear, bad testament to first responder knowledge.
Looks like the two officials that got to him first could use some training on how to handle a down rider(4 head hits is reason enough to hold him still until the paremedics are on hand). Letting him grab his own helmet off quick and sit up after sympethetically patting him on the shoulder and back probably isn't at the top of the list of effective actions to take.
