OK lets see whos got the fastest N/A, non nos bikes here?
This includes the 12,14,busa,etc.

How fast have you been without bars Nox's?

That vid was the fastest, but it was not a 1/4 mile pass, but given the info, and looking at it, it would have been a 9.0 or high 8.9 something........., and that was in almost 100 degree heat, high humidity........
I have run 9.10 with a messed up lock up, a 1.45 short time, in killer air, with bars, and a slick, two step, single stage lock up, no pc, no pipe........
weeks later, I went 1.32 short time........., 5.72 1/8.........., same set up, do the math..........
well into a 8 second pass..........
at the nopi nationals, I ran 9.3s, with brock pipe, 64 inches, no bars, no pc.
with pc, and 68 inches, i was going 9.2s, in 100 degree heat, but , tranny was messing up,
I am knocking back on 5.7s now, and I am 10 pounds lighter than when I ran that test run in that vid. when I get it back together, I am going to get it on a quarter track and see what it will do, hopefully I will have lost another 5, I am at 155 right now, and at 6'0 tall, its hard to lose much more............
all stock internals on the motor, and it will be back with stock parts when I go back, gotta get a new trailer, so cant go big just yet........

Jim, I have no internal details of the motor and if I did he would kick my ass if I told anyone, he is a grudge race maniac
The motor was built at the beginning of 2007...

My Bike, 2002 ZX12 pro ET setup....+12 arm, bars, MT slick, slider clutch, 2-step, 16/56, low 1st gear, removed counter balancer, pump gas, Muzzy sidewinder, bike is 500 pounds ready to race, me 210 in gear. This years Prostar at Valdosta...good track and air. 9.084 @ 140 and was off the gas to try and prevent a break out. Had been trapping at 145-146. It might have been on a 8 second run
My Buddy has a 2001 with a similar setup but his is gutted at 430 pounds... best pass has been high 8.60's and he doesn't even have a power commander !!

Still have the stock motor 12 Jim...
Got rid of the red 2000, have the blue 2002 now, 61" wheelbase, Akrapovic, gearing, stock air filters, foot shifting, Muzzy block off plates, Falicon billet basket, no power commander...

Jim,
The bike is a joy to ride, it;s so smooth. The handling and brakes are top notch too. To be the same weight as my 12, it feels 50 pounds lighter. Kawasaki did a good job there.
I still think the 12 is a better looking bike.
I was gonna stay away from any mods and use it for my everyday bike, freeing my 12 up for serious duty but...........I dunno. I'm gonna for sure pull the flies, it made my sons 14 so much more fun to ride. The bike needs some compression I think to help it out.
