Help! Technical/ Math lowering question!!
Okay.... here's my question... Using Muzzy's lowering links to lower the 6R ... (just fer street riding/ short person)... I am trying to calculate how much I should drop the forks to make the bike lower evenly.
I have used a little trig to figure this out, ... but I want some real technical opinions.,.. first the #'s...
(I am doing this in metric)
we know that the links lower the bike 1.5 inches, which equals 38mm.
Here are my calculations... can someone tell me if am am doing the right thing? thanks

This is telling me that to keep the bike level I have to lower the forks by 44mm in the clamps...
755-711=44

Wow.. you must have a lot of time on your hands
Your calculations look OK to me, but I always prefer real data- I would drop it 44 and measure. There is typically some unforeseen variable that needs accounting for.

my only concern is does the Muzzy link really drop the bike 1.5 inches using the center hole?... lowering the forks almost 1.75inches seems extreme to me...

Don't know sir - but it does seem like a lot. Try it and see maybe. Mmmm, data.

Too much thinking involved
Just drop it in the clamps until it looks even and don't think so much.

Look at the bike at eye level and it will be fine

Get under the bike and have PK drop it.
