fast zx 12
My buddy zx 12 is suppose to be stock,but running top speed it's like he's on 14 and I'm on 12.He blew his motor last year before winter.I'm thinking he had work done like a cam,piston kit, & crank work. He knew before his motor blew I was getting a 07 zx 14.So what do you guys think & what could he possibly had done to bike.He won't tell.He likes being the underdog.

Maybe he does, Maybe he doesnt have a motor...I go almost as fast as a good rider on a ZX14 with my 12...I have almost the same 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile MPH as the 14...

My guess is that he put a 1270 / 1287 inside. Can't tell from the outside but good for 180 + HP.
If there is no base gasket this bumped the compression even more.

well, if he has a built 12, it should run like a stock 14..........
if you are better, you should be winning right? Its all relative anyway........, only way to know for sure is to get out the timers..........
He may be tucking in better than you......., tons of reasons why...........
