mtc multi stage zx14

Ive got it set up the way mtc calls for and I still have probles spinning they dont offer a lighter spring so i can just let go of the clucth i still have to slide can I remove one or 2 of the springs or will it be loop sided kevin at mtc told me that at the installed height of 1.55 is 60 pounds a spring or so any help would be great

I originally commented on your post thinking you had a 12. For the 12, MTC offered a double spring setup for each hole that was actually too light and caused too much slippage by theirselves. That was good, however, because the proper pressure could be added by putting .020 and .040 shims under the springs to adjust for low slippage without tire spin. I ended up haveing a .020 under 5 of the springsets. If they still sell those, I think they would fit the 14 clutch also.
You will need to have a sticky tire adjusted in pressure for the track conditions also.
