Karl - quit polishing that turd electric sometimes shifter you got on your bike and get an air shifter!
It was good to meet the people i had never met before and i always enjoy seeing my old friends.
Thanks to bikeland for hosting the event and for the dinner.I really enjoyed the seminar. i learned a lot. The multistage setup seminar was very helpful too as i have one now i have a better understanding of how to set it up thanks to jason miller.
I'm going to texas 22-28 july for fire training at dallas FW airport. I hope to see some of the texas guys while i'm there.

quote: While all the accolades and thanks are being handed out, I want to make sure credit is given where credit is due. To that end: dinner was covered by Bikeland, not me personally, just in case that isn't clear/obvious. Also, huge thanks to MadMike for doing much of the organization. He played a large part in the race coming together. Of course thanks to Entropy for being the treasurer from last year's race.
I personally owe a huge thanks to Vincent for lending me his bike to learn on, providing me with my total beginner's lesson, and giving me the most complete tour of DC you could possibly have in about 2 hours! Of course thanks to MadMike and JC for the offers to abuse their bikes also. I was rather concerned about doing so, but now that I think i have the (VERY basic) hang of it, i'll be comfortable taking you up on such offers should the situation present itself again. Course, i'll now probably be dragging from red lights whenever i get a safe chance, so i'll be a pro by then
I completely missed the R/T seminar. No idea how i managed that?!
Definitely enjoyed meeting everyone there, just a shame i didnt have more time to chat with so many. Will write more about my trip as a whole shortly.
It was all my pleasure! For me, I also enjoy a nice summer ride through a Park and around the circles of the City streets!
