newbie racer version 2.0 w/pics

got to take my bike out to the strip this past wednesday and saturday, i think i'm hooked for sure now. i originally took my bike to the drag strip because my car is broken, but i think i'm having more fun on my bike.....dont tell my car though

i ran about the same times on wednesday and saturday, most being 11.6x runs with one low 11.5 run on wendnesday and a higher 11.5 yesterday. like i mentioned in my last post, my best run was on wednesday: 11.528@117 w/ 1.858 60' and a .079 light.

yesterday was especially fun because i was 5-0 all against faster bikes. silly squids and there shiny new bikes, haha. i'd be pretty pissed if i had a brand new 636 or r6 and lost to ten year old F3 with a slip on.

here's a few pictures from yesterday:

i think someone i knew took some video, i'll post a few clips if i get ahold of them

UPDATE: strapped it down tonight and ran 11.37@ 119 on what felt like a perfect run. making it even better was the fact that i beat an MV Agusta F4 on the same run. poor bastard should have saved himself 20 grand and bought an F3!!

Not bad! I had 2 different F2s that I took to the strip, one was bone stock, the other pipe, filter, jetted and -1 up front. I was running 11.5 to 11.6 on those at 118 all day. Launghing from 8k on up. Looks like you found yourself some ET.

I was running 1.8 60s too....some 1.7s but if the tank was empty, forget it, all it did was wheelie.

It doesn't get any more banged up than this:

I made 35 passes on that thing in 1 day at the strip, countless 1st and 2nd gear wheelies, really was a good "DO ANYTHING" bike!

Figured you may enjoy the underdog sticking it to em!

solid work man, not too many people know about the missing inspection panel and front fender trick

those videos reminded me of my bike SOOOO much. these bikes are good at so many things and GREAT at taking a beating. i'm thinking i'll probably ride this bike for the rest of the year and then upgrade early 08. although it isn't really worth enough to justify getting rid of, haha.
