me too, BIG fan of David @ Marine.

Tell him what you want and you'll actually get it when he says you will.

BTW: SC, what do you race and where are you located???

Yep, Mr. Eden puts out some fine product at some of the best prices! I have spoken to him directly as he always seems to answer his own phones. He is also quick on the e-mail too.

Didn't know what the other use for those green rubber bands was till JC told me.

Thank you much Karl for digging him up!

Nope, not me.

Buddy found him 2-3 yrs ago, then he had JC sent Buddy''s damaged crank to him.
Like they say: the rest is history.

Thanks Buddy (take a bow )

sorry i have not got back here sooner guys yes entropy i drag race only, bike rarely sees the street . yea your right bears beans and cod. guys i have not installed this crank yet and some of you know the difficulty i've had with this crank. and to answer that question yea # 3 #1 and #4 this will be the last time i attempt to use this crank, it was a muzzy stroker and no success with it at all, dave repaired it and with all the service it had before it may not work because of it ,but even if this does not work for me dave and only dave will get my buissness , falicon will never see a crank from me ever, and i feel i finally found someone who will back their word up and stand by their work. and that to me is worth trying this crank one last time.

I'm coming back "up theah" in May for my Mom's 90th B-Day, and I will tell her "hi from starchild" just to see the look on her face

for yr stroker, i log oil pressure and have a couple thoughts ...

what kind of oil pan are you using?? the 12 hates starvation.

what oil are you using?? 15-50 synthetic keeps oil pressure up a bit at low rpm.

have you shimmed yr oil relief valve??

are you sure the cases aren't warped? Are the thrust surfaces heavily scored?? Ninja12 has some thoughts on cases, you might PM him.

what size bearings are you using in the rods and mains?

Have you measured yr quench height, are you positive yr pistons aren't hitting the head??

Do you run it into the limiter??

I am NOT an expert, but have broken just about every part on my bike

Starchild, are you spinning rod bearings? I wouldnt blame the crank so fast. You may have other issues.

rod bearings are the only problems i have had with the stroker, cases have been brought up before but i've had my cases lined bored, oil pressure has been bumped up also, stock pan. last time rob put the rods on using blue bearings, mains were black ,the next motor will be blues and i made sure i was 50 thou in the hole rob reccomends 40 thou.pistons have not hit the head and shifted at 10,500. but i have hit red line several times.the last time rob two times rob put the rods on thought were had it licked but it blew up at nopi in n.h.i could not even enjoy the thongs and bikinis man that hurt, oil plug fell out of crank lost #3 bearing, ever see a grown man cry?

SC,
My guess you are starving for oil at launch and at the big end. I log oil pressure and seeing it go from 90psi to 5 shortly after launching induced me to buy a billet pan with a swinging pick up.

Also, when you dump the throttle at the big end, the oil pressure goes waaaay down for a couple sec.
