zx14 wet kit

I am currently running a dry kit but want to run a wet kit but do not know where or how to put the nozzles. If there is anyone here that can help with pictures or information it would be greatly appreciated. zx14.

If you really don't know where or how to install the nozzles, you may want to have a reputable shop do it for you. Did you install the dry shot?

There are dry shot systems up that tweak fuel pressure up to 120+ hp, not sure why you want to go wet.

Not really a kit, there more labor involved than sticking a single nozzle in the air box. Stock Mild to Wild in Jax, FL 904 389 1177 does big dry shots, and Matt Wright at Drag Bike Direct, maybe others. -Dean

A dry shot sprays nitrous in the air box and basically waits for the cylinders to suck down the gas one at a time while a wet shot basically sprays the same amount of nitrous in all four at the same time no matter what. Also wet vs dry on the dyno has proven to produce more hp and tq

a wet shot requires a lot more tuning and attention! It is not as forgiving as a dry shot
you can end up with a lot of little pieces if you have a opps!

with items like the MPS fast enrichment you can spray up to 100 shot (claimed).

at that point you approaching the limits of the internals of the engine. No one is not suggesting you stay with dry if you desire a wet. The end results could be acheived with with alot less time effort and complication

to answer your question:

the fooger noozles are installed in the intake runners. you have to drill and tap the runners.
the nozzles should face the intake valve.

On most systems the Do not recommend cutting into the fuel line from the tank to the TB's
you have to drill and tap the tank to supply fuel pump

Will you be using controller?

You're kinda sorta describing a direct port nitrous system. Not the difference between a wet and dry shot.

The dry shot is basically nitrous only. The extra fuel is being provided by richening up the mixture, either with the power commander, or by the nitrous cooling the air box, making the computer think that it's colder air, so it adds fuel (very common on cars).

The wet shot is fuel being sprayed WITH the nitrous, hence the nitrous AND fuel line running into the same nozzle. The extra fuel is provided by the nitrous system, by a line from the fuel system into a solenoid.

I had a wet kit on my old 5.0 Mustang. Fuel line tee'd off the fuel rail, and nitrous line running into ONE nozzle placed in the intake tube ahead of the intake. When sprayed it "basically waited for the cylinders to suck down the nitrous/fuel mixture", as it wasn't being directly injected into the intake ports of the heads. Still a wet shot, NOT a direct port system.

Each has there own issues if something goes wrong. The safety factor only really shows itself when you start running a large shot.

How big a shot do you want to run that you think you need a wet system ? Why go more compicated when it can safely be done with a much simpler system

I have a 30HP wet shot made by Boss Noss on my snowmobile. A ski-doo 800 twin. Anybody think that I could put this system on my 12? The main problem I see is that it has only 2 NOS jets and 2 fuel jets but I believe I can order more from the company. Also my sled is carb but some guys are using them on EFI sleds and just regulating the fuel down more with the kit's fuel regulator. I hear that Boss is going to start producing wet kits for bikes. By the way a 30hp shot on a sled makes a BIG diff in a 1000ft race! At least 6 lengths. I believe wet is the way to go. Any thoughts?
