Bud de Bud de Bud de Bud de Bud de Bud de Buddy Kicked all comers! Buddy spanked a 9.26 on everyone and took (As far as I can tell) the Quickest bike out there! Freek Kicked me on my own bike running an 11.40 at 125 MPH (Stock ZRX 1100 = 1052 CC with Prototype Step Hindle and ZX11 Cams.

ME?? Everyone out there Wupped me. I did run better than a 13 (My previous Best at a drag strip in 1972 35 years ago). I was able to make a LOT of Rounds and learn a Little! Crotch Rocket helped me with the Burn out (Do not do it in the Water Box ) and a few others helped me with staging. None of them could help with me Being SLOOOOW!!

We went to Capt's Billys and we ate like Pigs! I am real tired and going to take a shower and go to bed. The School was worth EVERY Penny! I learned soo much that It will take weeks for me to write it all down!

It was certainly an awesome day. I learned a lot, and put around 22 passes on the bike. Set new personal bests in everything but R/T. I'd like to thank all of you for your advice out there. Thanks again to Jason Miller for being top notch and to MIR for hosting this awesome event!

Also Thanks to Narider and DahMurf for...well, everything!

Shane

Now that I have had a little time to rest up and think about everything else, It was worth the ptice of Admission without a motorcycle! #1, I met my personal Hero Johnny Cheese (My Brother) Someone I have never heard a bad thing about and ALWAYS Respected in how he did business. The #1 reason I would ever go to a state where they voted for George Bush on purpose Freek Someone we all see what he does (This Board) but most have never met in person. I had the pleasure of giving him the $1.00 Tour of Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland and TAKE Him to lunch where he could eat some Vegetarian Food possibly for the first time in several days. Freek, it was all my pleasure.

Then there was BUDDY Bud Dee! Bud Dee! Bud Dee! My new hero who is not only Quicker than everyone out there but is "OLDER" than I am! He is everything I am not. "Quiet", Unassuming, Quick & Fast! Never heard more than a few words out of him but his ridding spoke for him. My Buddy "Harry" who has never had a picture taken withoug giving it the finger Without harry, I would be the Heaviest person out there and no one to off set my Humor. Karl Entrophy who has everything we all want in our ZX12R and the one thing we all do not want but see from time to time Consistency. If there is anything left to do on a ZX12R, the only reason is is not on Karl's bike is because he does not know about it! His bike is like mine in a way! It know where your patience limit is and feels it is its job to keep you there. Just about when you say FU to the bike it runs better than it ever has before with allows you to spend more time and money to see that again! Karl, you will break its spirit and get several runs out of it and have NO Problems!

Crotch Rocket Our own East Coast Professional Racer! Crotch did all he could to help me thinking "How in the hell am I going to tell this person that is old enough to be my Grand Dad what to do without pissing him off"!! Well he and his Buddy Brooklyn ZX12 (Who was even more careful about trying to help me) did it and I thank them for it. Believe it or not, (Yes I have seen it all done) but this was the first time I did a burn out and wetted the tire in the "Water Box". It is hard to see where it is and then when you are not in it and keep from losing control while cleanning off the tire! SOMEHOW I managed to get most of these things done and not hurt myself. (Between the 2 of them I went from a 2.2 to a 1.8 "60" foot time which I found out is about as good as it can get for what I had)! Never be afraid to give good advice! If the person is a jerk and has issues, that is on them! I learned as much from you 2 as I did from Jason!

Mad Mike who told me something I had heard but was not sure about. The tree! As soon as you see the last yellow, leave! The best I knew was to leave before it went out so I would not foul. I finally got to see a "0" After the Point on reaction time after listening to him. It was not enough to beat him the "Mid West Professional Racer" flown in for this event!

G Right Who gave me the simple tip "How much air do you have in your rear tire"? Maybe you need to lower the pressure? Well of course I had enough at 36 PSI Because I am always going fast. I lowered it to 26 and that finally allowed me to spin a lot less. Information I used that helped me to have my only round win

As you can see, I had a LOT To learn and took in as much as was possible. You sure loos a LOT In 35 years! (Too bad it is not weight! )

BTW, WHo was the guy with the White 14? What happened there? I saw some people running for the start line and when I get there I see this 14 at the line but facing me (Backward) WHAT??

I don't know what happened there but that was frank (fas550). I got to talk to him a little, but would have like to hear more about his 14.
