We should plan to do everything "EARLY" rather than "LATER"! It is starting to look like rain late in the day. I have looked at 3 stations and 1 show scattered rain, One shows late rain and one shows no rain. BUT all show rain on Saturday!

OK, I do not want to have to kick some Indians azz....
I am planning on doing my no rain dance!

What I am getting at is we should not fool around in the morning and try to have all of our runs in by 4 or 5 PM which if it is going to rain that is when it will appear.

BTW, No one said what time we should show up??

Me I am late to everything so I need to know just what time "LATE" is so I can be there then!

Isn't the race on the 1st? If so, that is Friday.-----Scratch that, I think you were talking about 2 days forecasts.

The Texas people haven't seen but maybe one or two 90 degree days since last summer. It's been between 60 and 85 degrees for the last 30-45 days in Dallas. It has rained 3-5 times daily for the last 12 to 15 days. A 4 year drought was wiped out in just 45 days, with allmost every lake in N. Texas full now. Some of them raised 20' during this monsoon season.

90 degrees is going to feel like an oven.

Luckily MIR has a really big, big end! Heck I bet a coast out would be pretty doable. Ali, you ever try a coast out at MIR? Sheesh, MIR's shutdown is HUGE compared to our Maxton 1 mile! and NO CONES!

I was thinking 8am Friday but I don't know why. Not sure if I read it.

that's great, thx todd. i can say that kevlar (at least my particular suit) does pretty good at 50mph, taking cosmetically ugly but structurally minimal damage. but 50 and 80 mph are a world apart.

My pleasure Freek.

My apologies for not responding to those that were looking for a spot after saying we had one available in thinking we needed to sell Debbie's(Dahmurf's) spot(as most of you know she went down at Maxton and won't be riding for little while now).

She wrote to Jason Miller and we all agree that she(and I both) will find alot of benefit of having her there with full access(as we're all paid up) to Jason, everyone in action on the track and the seminars.

Of course she'll be missing out on the valuable track and seat time(of which she and I will gain by signing up and taking the "whole" course again together in the near future). But if Jason and those with better habits and abilities then us(that would be all of you), are willing to allow her to be a loud video and camera toting fly on the wall(of course that will all be for our private use and available to only those that are part of the course that day)... then we are going to consider her time and money well spent.
Todd

Vincent, I'm doing the same thing. Hopefully WW Bridge won't be packed in the AM while crossing over to MD.

So.....what are the grudges?

Entropy giving shiphteey the hit?

Shiphteey n/a vs narider?

Shiphteey on the gixxer 600 vs VH on the 1100?

Shiphteey blindfolded with the right foot on the rear brake lever vs Warp12?

A.

How come the literbike guys love talking the smack....and then when we get out in the open highway and I'm at 9k they always do the "Papi no mas" thing.....little literbikes.....always in the shadows, just a hair too slow.....but it just doesn't make sense! They are so much faster on paper when doing power to weight ratio comparisions....I don't get it!

We'll see wussup Todd. Let me know if you'd like me to bolt my stock wheels back on to help you out. Should I richen up my map and take out 10 degrees of timing too while I'm at it? LOL!

Nah, just being you should do it. I figure you'll either run just enough gas to make it past the 1/8th, or deploy your human(suit undone) parachute trick off the line!

The botch effect will always be a dealable card with the younger guys.

Hey I can ride with shipteey, we'll match your weight & I can get a ride down the track to satisfy my need for speed!! (then I can say I ran in the 9's in the 1/4 )
