This is an update on my 12. This is my very best pass, backed it with a 9.28 and a 9.29
2004 ZX12R, slammed 64" pipe and pclll, air shifter and geared to the nuts.
Hasnt even had a valve adjustment.

No I have a billet basket, with stock clutches and heavy springs, and modified hub.
The problem I am having is traction. Our bike race is on a friday which is test and tune night for the cars. Those slow ass front wheel drive cars really tear up the track. Traction is great early, but as the night goes on it gets bad.
I leave around 7K rpm and slide the clutch and pour the coals to it. I slide the clutch maybe10ft. If it hooks, its on like donkey kong. Problem is, it lights up the tire sometimes.
I have a shinko 003. I am going to put a Mickey on it very soon.

When you get some more seat time, it will do that in August and July, in stead of motoring to in in the NOV air...........

I ran a 9.22 at 146 in 104 degree heat at King of the Track in August......., with a 1.45 short time........

12s will run like hell, its just no one respects em............

Good job, keep it up

NOX here in San antonio the summes suck. someone had a weather station and during the summer it registered 3000ft elevation. with high humidity. Nothing is going to run good with that kind of air. On this pass the elevation registered 600ft. I think san antonio is at 400ft

so what does your bike run in the cool weather. Mine struggled to see .40's in the heat.

I have not had it out since it got cool.........

Tranny is out right now, messed up some stuff..........

It ran 9.10 with no pc and stock header with a 1.45 short time last march at 148 mph.

I wish I could get it out in the cool air the way it has been running, hopefully it will do some low 5.80s or 5.70s in the 1/8, if I can do that, it should turn 9.0s, the bike has 8.9s in it, I just have to find it, I just got a full on works shock, so that should help a ton.
