Stock bore could be a Bob Carpenter 200 hp package. Want to be more specific?
Still 8's are alway good on 63" WB.

I ran an 8.83 on my friends 68" Busa with a 40 shot. Stock motor.
My stock 64" 12 is running 9.20's , I am going to do a dry shot on it and see what it does.

Yes - the Busa actually has to have tuning done to it. A 12 can run a 40 shot on stock tuning according to some...

Sounds like a strong setup. I wanted to be clear on what you were saying, "stock bore" not "stock".
I played the street racer game a few years and learned to pick-up on words like stock bore, stock stroke, and Tune-up. Those words mean different things to different people.
Bikeland's VH has a stock bore, stock crank ZX12 that make 300hp, on the bottle, needless to say it's been touched.

Nice numbers lilmikef...
Your MPH shows that you are getting there plenty-quick for the power that you have ...

Bbusas run good with 40-dry with just the PC buttons set rich...
We don't take any timing out until we go over 40-shot...
You can actually run 60 with stock timing as long as you run RaceFuel...

KARL... if you see this...
we are getting ready to do some R&D on our ZX12 RaceBikeHead...
I would expect that you might be interested??? If it works as well as we expect???
I'll PM you more about it when we start working on it...

Oh Ya...I guess I need to mention that...SM2W bought the FIRST ZX1361 that I ever built (STILL running strong 4-years after I built it ) for ME to race in the SS class next year
We are also building a sprayed Bbusa to run in the same class...

Muzzy vs Lee's vs CHcustom

I've got 3 different sets of cams why not test em, eh?
How hard can switching out cams be???

On a ZX12???
That's why we started the head/cam R&D on the Bbusa 1st
Pretty sure it will be MUCH easier to do with ANY motor after we get an ENGINE DYNO

At SM2W we have a cam profiler and have found (as expected) that some of the supposed "custom ground cams" are actually "off the shelf" cams without the Off The Shelf #s on them ...

We are going to use a BIGGER intake cam than what ANYONE is making for the 12s
It will NOT "Drop In" without head-mods...
IT will be sold/used as a head/cam combo when it's ready...

We already have some different cams for Bbusa than what anyone has IE we had them made to our specs...
As with any R&D...they didn't all work as well as we expected but that's why it's called R&D right!?!?!?...
The motor/hp WIZARD that we met is going to spend a week here (at least) in Dec. to help us R&D the Bbusa AND ZX12 motors...
Anyone have ZX14 motor they want to donate?!?!?! just kidding (for now)...

JUST got done mapping Ryan's 1397 Bbusa with Ryan's head and cams (same head/cams that made 200hp on same BottomEnd with Stock Bore)...
The 1397 made more power and torq than any Carpenter 1397 that we have seen ON OUR DYNO...
It's 15hp short of what the WIZARD expected though...that is why he is coming here in Dec. he's sure (and I believe him) that we will "find it"...
Makes my brain hurt just talking (LISTENING/learning) from this man if I try to take in more than an hour of his info at a time...LOL...
It hurts GOOD if ya know what I mean though

Sorry to go Off-Topic here on your thread lilmikef
I will start a new thread when we have more info...
