In all honesty NOX here's what happened..
I got this 24Hp V-twin kohler Law tractor... So a year back in the spring I decide that it's time for an oil change.. NOW not many people take care of their Law stuff as we should so I decide to use Royal Purple oil this change for the added protection it should offer to the poor little neglected motor.. The motor started smoking and in a matter of about 3 times mowing it had used almost ALL the oil  I switched it back to the Mobil 1 that it had alway used and NEVER once used a drop of and it hasn't used a drop since. That give me a BAD taste of the Purple stuff... Damn it must be slick!!!!!!!!!! It went right past the rings like they weren't even there.

I have never had any trouble, you can take my tranny and spin it with the cases split, and it climbs the gears like that lucas oil thing on the counter at auto zone...........
did you use the same weight?

I don't recall Nox if I did or not.. It was the same stuff my best friend uses in the custom Harley's he builds.. It works for him I know... His last bike only held a little more thn 1 Qt and he rode it from Tennessee to Key West with ZERO oil related problems.. Although I do think other stuff fell off along the way  Like the Crank Pulley for the belt drive Funny story on that one.. LOL!!!!!!!!!
