First 1/4 mile times with the 12.....
I ran 6 times. 3 with stock suspension and 3 with my 12 lowered 1" in the rear and strapped 2 inches in the front....
Best MPH was 140
Best ET was a 10.3xx
best 60' was a 1.85
Best 1/8 was 114mph
If i can get off the line better and drop my 60' foot time to a 1.6xx i should hit the 9's or be damn close. I think i may have to drop my front sprocket to a 17 toother. the 18 is just too tall to try and take off fast.
All and all i was pleased since this is the first time I have had the 12 at the strip and actually got to run a few consecutive runs (in working form)
Well what do you pro draggers think? Any suggestions?
I was launching between 4 and 7k.... wheelied one and spun one real bad.
shifting in the mid 11k area.
Full muzzy, K&N are the only performance mods i have. Running on D207 200 series with 40psi

The difference at the end of the quarter between 1.85 and 1.65 60ft time is more than .4 sec! There's no doubt in my mind that you would be into the 9's with a 1.65 60ft. Now for the bad news, if 1.85 is your best, your a long way from getting it. Here's a couple of pointers that may help. Shift at REDLINE. Not "about 11K". Put a thin white piece of tape on your tach if you have to. Lower the bike as much as possible. Run the rear link as low as you can without touching, and crank the front strap down until the snorkel is almost on the fender. Run less pressure in your tire. If you do get to the point where you can launch hard enough to get a 1.65, you'll need less than 40psi (30 or so should be OK depending opon the track conditions). Don't forget about that important time after the 60ft point when your still in first. You need to get wide open as soon as you can, and be wide open for the shift to second at redline. Last pointer if your up to it. Add a link to your chain. The extra wheelbase is good for a tenth or so once you are pushing the wheelie envelope. Hope this helps.

I was shifting mid 11k like i said.... so between 11.5 and 11.8k... wich is pretty close to the limiter without hitting it. When i spun with the bike lowered i snapped the clutch out too fast i think. I will try dropping the pressure. A 17 tooth front will move the wheel back a little too.
I actually ran 2 10.3's and one was lowered and strapped and the other was stock height.
I weigh in at around 210 with gear.
