Yes i did. I could only get 169 out of my bike. I made 4 or 5 passes al 169. I was wringing it's neck. It was the best i could do. I had my 573 hp turbobusa sitting in my trailer not quite finished yet. I'm pretty sure i'll be going faster when i get it all finished.
I put the brock pipe on my bike and didn't have it mapped so i'm gonna have it mapped and see if that helps. I'm not making excuses. I did the best i could on the day. I've got a "B" liscence which means i can go up to 200 mph.
The way they run the liscencing is pretty good actually as it gives you time to ge use to the course at lesser speeds which makes it safer for everyone. They are all about safety which is a good thing.3 seperate inspectors check each bike that is capable of 200 mph or more.
The people that run the event are really nice and very helpful. I'm definitely hooked.

Cool deal Harry...........I know you did your best, can't imagine otherwise. It just takes a little practice right? There is NO doubt you will will be flying with the Busa......... Maybe I can attend that meet so I can watch you wring that bad boys neck!! Maxton is not too far from here in Kentucky. If Dan can ride his bike over, race it and ride it back I can sure get over there to watch you guys tear it up!

Just read about Dans troubles in the other thread. No fun sitting on the side of the rode........
Glad you got it fixed and made some runs............you guys sure have great attitudes......most would have packed it up.

Nice Pics!!!! Entropy needs some of them saddle bags for his 12, since they must reduce drag!!! Did BBB run? Real nice guy, met him at the Texas Mile. Heard he moved out to the North East from AZ. Good to see some go fast girls too!

NOPE they don't reduce drag at all. Dan's 12R has been 202 on more than one occasion with multible riders on board. But it's nice to see they don't seem to slow her down much.

Warbird,
Normally I probably would have packed it in but I was determined to run since I'd been through so much.
It was worth it though with so many of the racers scratching their heads and wondering what in the world I was doing there with my bagger.
I'm shooting for the 190's next Spring in the touring mode!
Dan
