Tuning

On the 12 you cant tune each cylinder seperately unless you have the usb power commander I believe. What we do is tune the engine for best performance on average on fuel ratio, Im going to copy a link that shows exactly what im talking about. Mostly our systems are in automotive drag racing applications but the same principles apply http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/resources/pedigo.php Thats our shop

The reason that I run 4 LC-1's (oxygen sensors) is to watch and change the fuel ratio as needed on nitrous. Changing the fuel or nitrous jest to maintain proper fuel ratio is a key to performance and reliability. We are still in the begining stages of tuning my bike but you would be amazed on how well a "tuned" bike responds to proper fuel ratio changes.

I hope this helps, If you need anything or have any questions please let me know. Chris

Thanks Chris ; I got more info from you than the manufacturer tech reps themselves (Innovate motorsports).. no lie..

Happy to do business with your shop... Look forward to DS-32 data logger and LC-1 wideband controller; guys that have LM-1handheld version of this wideband have told me they wish this compact version would have been available a year ago... I like the 2- axis accelerometer feature...

If accelerometer measures up to be sensitive enough to detect and tell me acceleration "G" forces before and after modifications like tuning for racing gas, removing secondaries flies or even just showing improvments in acceleration from just removing air filter ; this system will pay for itself in a very short time...

This is a system I can keep for whatever changes I make to any engine I may own for a long time to come.. In any event I don't need to pay repeatedly for expensive dyno services and can to experiment with mods as I like...

Thanks!
