Lee's 1000 goes 7.90!!
This video has been going around for a while but I don't know how many people here have seen it. I found it over on Psychobike.
Lee says it is a slip fit motor with his head and cams plus a 150 shot. He also said it didn't shift into 6th or it would have gone 7.70's. YIKES!!!

Well then - why don't Lee shorten it to 64" and put it in Prostar SS class....
Why? Because LONG bikes are easier to ET...

I'm pretty sure hes got that bike set up for the MIROCK prosport bike class... I don't think Lee would have ANY problem riding that bike at 64".

Lee said it has a 150 shot on it. Not a 100 shot.

Slip fit?
Never heard it before.....
Does that mean stock stroke, Big bore kit?
Must be a southern slang.. LOL
184 on motor,
didn't the older ones with stock bore and stroke make like just over 200 RWHP on motor.
If something ever happens to the 14, I think the next one will be a Gixxer... with 200 rwhp LOL
The 14 is a beauty, but I don't ride anything stock. The sheer mass of the 14 is something that can't be changed.... no matter how you slice it.

Slip fit, shoe in, drop in, it means ya bring your bike and he'll slip on the goodies
or slip ya in a motor with the same or almost the same combo minus a couple
trade secrets to keep ya running a touch slower than his. Yep that 14 is a touch
on the fatty side but then so are the 12 and Busa. Just depends on what ya like,
some skinny nickers on crack or a fatty momma on roids. However you add it
up 7.9 is fast for a 1000 on a touch of juice.

slip fit means stock bore and stroke , he just put some good pistons (and probably rods)in it.
The reason it only makes 184 on motor is because hee built itto spray the livin' dog sh&t out of it.
And I don't think many stock bore and stroke 1000 make 200 hp , most of the supersport 1000s make in the high 180's but most 3 mill 1000s make around 200.
Get the 1000 you'll love it , have'nt ridden a 14 yet but I really like the liter bikes .
i rode a buddy's busa the other day and it felt like a tank after riding a zx-10 for so long.

Why don't you think Lee can go that fast @ 64" , he went 8.20 on motor @ 65" on the silver gsxr 1000 . Besides , I dont think this bike is much longer than maybe 66"

My bad ... I meant lees' ported , cammed and piped 1000's were making 200.
Yes that would make sense.... built the motor for spray.. !
I really do like the 14,
I just imagine pulling beside the bigger bikes with a 200 rwhp 1000 that looks stock except for pipe, and embarrasing some big bore bikes LOL.
Oh well.
at least I don't have to worry about my frame splitting in 2 ! LOL
