Megaphone drone?
Figured i would ask the straightliners what they think!
Lookin a street megaphone pipe, but concerned the drone will cause deafness.
Is it much louder ( with the baffle in) than a standard aftermarket pipe ?
Would one become tired of the noise volume at speed on the highway?
I like the fact its shorter than the huge standard aftermarket cans offered.

Seriously, will I get tired of all the noise if riding more than couple of hours?
I don't want sumptin irritating and givin me swollen ear drums!

baffle in not so loud
baffle out pretty loud,
especially loud when you twist the grip.
Thats with a muzzy street megaphone on a zx12.

honestly, with the baffel in, it is not that bad, harly customs much louder... with it out, as Ninja12 said it is loud as fuck!!

We had one of the new VROD out of the box race bikes at the track last weekend.....
My brock meg with no baffle was no match for the open piped vrod off the two step at 8500, and shifting at over 11,000.............
I did not know a v twin would do that........, also, they come from the factory with a full suzuki clutch system, multistage......., I got him from 1.7 short times to 1.39 in two passes.........

I built my own megaphone, its one i found in my buddy's shop, fabbed it up to fit my muzzy pipe so I can switch between the meg or my muzzy end can. I did this mainly to get some room for back pegs for drag racing, but it sounds cool and the dyno showed a little gain, dont know for sure because I havent done a same day back to back comparison. But I know it didnt hurt it, thats for sure.
It has a reverse cone inside, I slash cut the end also. With the extensions, the meg, and some gearing I dropped 4 tenths in the 1/4

That is similar to what I ran with bars before the brock pipe, ran 5.7s in the 1/8 with 1.32 short times and no pc.........
