Yes to all.
We will have one in a 10 this week...
You can "shim" the springs for now if need be...

You need to call MTC...they wouldn't be listed as a normal sales part...
I had several shims left over from other LockUp installs...
You can add as many as you feel you need as long as the springs don't coil bind when you pull the lever in...
I am installing this ZX10 LockUp tonight and can post how many shims we have under the springs after I see them...
I very seldom remember details like this until I have done it several times (at least 3)
This bike has run 5.70s and 8.70s with stock motor and our DryShot system...but the mph is lower than it should be in the 1/4...
We will see how he does tomorrow with the LockUp...

MTC has 10 thousands,25 thousands and 50 thousand of an inch thickness for sale.

MTC techline 321-636-9480 Part # KSL105 25/1000"
Part # KSL106 50/1000"

Salsperson said just need to avoid bindind as mentioned by KCADBY. Not sure what to buy yet; $16.00 set ; My local bolt and nut specialist store might have washers that work; also been told spark plug washers work. Still undecided but might get the 25 i/1000 inch as they are close to spark plug washer thickness...

Just a single 25/1000 " washer does not make too much difference as per tech help at MTC ; adds about 2-3 more lbs. per spring; maybe thats enough.. don't know yet.

I gather the lockup clutch is pricey probable overkill for non turbo or no nitrous; not so sure a near stock ZX-10R would really need..they cost over $600.00 I think..and are they streetable..

Found this piece of info digging around the net ; sounds good to me... seek and ye shall find...

"025. shims under each clutch spring, 45 passes, 1.43- 1.52 60' 200lb rider, 15/41 gearing"

also

" welded up my clutch hubs. Which loses the slipper clutch but i have noticed my clutches last alot longer while drag racing. I usually do 10-15 passes a weekend. Several weekends in a row."

For a ZX-10R...would have to look into the welding clutch hubs deal but the shim height question is answered ; should be a safe try anyhow...

Have fun!!

I use the 10 thou on my 12, it gives you so much fine tuning, and you can always stack them.

When you get it in the sweet spot, 1 or two pounds of pressure is huge.................

tuning the arms is huge as well..........., have fun..............., get a cordless drill, keep it charged, you will become intimate with taking the cover off...............

It is worth it though........., it is all trial and error..............

TOLD ya I don't remember details until repeated multiple times
The ZX12/Bbusa LockUp washers won't work...sorry I told you they would...
Now that I saw this ZX10 clutch appart again...I remember that...I found washers of proper OD and turned the inside on lathe to fit over the Spring Cups...
They were probly .060 thick and still were not enough to hold the NO2 power...even with new plates...
I used Spark Plug washers all the time MANY years ago before ANYONE made heavy duty springs for ANY bikes...
Hard to believe Schnitz doesn't carry HD springs for the 10 yet?!?!?!

Yes, butter...........

Oh so smooth and consistent............, and my worst light was a 560 this sunday, before that, 524 was my worst. the rest were 5 teens.....

It picks the front wheel up about 60 ft out about 5 inches, for maybe 10 ft, then sits it back down oh so nice.......
