Holy Kaw!!
Well, I posted a little over on the other side, but I will give you guys a run down of the weekend! Yes I did Win!! My first National event win!! went 8 total rounds, got a bye round into the final, and worst light in eliminations was a .585, my best pass of the weekend was a 9.43@148.5mph, but I am here to tell you this bike has a whole bunch left in her to tune!!! I see 9.0's coming in the near future, well to give you the lowdown on the set up, first off, still have winter weight! 230 in shorts, dang!! geared short for 4th, hit limiter right before traps(definate change coming), motor had around 350 miles on it. not broke in yet, and my 60' times were way slow, im blaming long winter break!, LOL... my avg was around 1.68, but this bike pulls crazy!! I cant wait to get it to a dyno and get this bad boy tuned in!!! I am very excited about how consistant it was, other then the runs I had to chop, ran 9.45,.46,.47's all weekend! I believe that with the set up I have the bike is running lean up top, so Im loosing quite a bit there, but hell this was supposed to be just a test and tune weekend!! and I ended up winning the whole thing, Now that is a great way to start the season!! and Im still high on this win!! Oh from what I have heard that on Tuesday Night the Speed Channel(speedvision) Will be airing all of the finals from Atlanta!!! so I might be on two wheel tuesday on this tuesday night!!! when I find out a time I will let everyone know!!! and it was great to see Doug, and everyone! oh and a couple of bad starts to the weekend, first had to finish the bike in the parking lot of the hotel till 12:30AM and be at the track at 6:30AM, cant believe that we made it! then one of my front motor mounts came loose and put a hole in my radiator!!! major bad deal!! then I thought I had it fixed and had mostly water in her, Nope it blew on my first time run and blew fluid all over the track!! well they wanted to kick me out for the whole weekend!! they gave me the benifet of the doubt, and let me stay, but told me if even 1 drop came off of my bike I was GONE!! so checked with Doug at the Muzzy tent and they said it was Ok to run Dry but NOT to drive it around at all!! so I played dragbike all weekend and had a scooter push me to the line and then come get me after at the end. LOL.. it was kind of funny now! but heck without a few storms, how can you ever find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!!

CONGRATS Mike, YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!!!
i especially like the part about slopping the track, but you really should save that activity for a T&T nite and make the cars wait (for once)...
How is yr 1361 running?
When I first got mine going I did a 9.50, but it didn't take long to get used to it and the times dropped alot. I am looking for you to post some 9.0's in the near future  ; add nutec I wanna see you do 8.9's. TFA has just got to get one its all-motor guys into the 8's, and I'm counting on Y-O-U!!!!
