street et is based on how consistant you are. thats why you saw a 500.00 dollar motorcycle damn near win that class in atlanta with no aftermarket anything. why would you buy a 11000.00 $ bike, buy a header and power commander, aftermarket shock, extended swingarm, 1 to 2 mm overbore, headwork and cams, (which a great majority of racer interested people ride to the store everyday) pay money to race a scooter. thats why you open the door for the pro guys and then heads up with minor changes for the steetbike classes. you cant cheat as much if you make rules to keep it simple. almost just like they came when you bought it. the late model fuel injected bikes are a majority of the ones racing these classes. some of these old rules for the older bikes it whats making it more complicated. the tunner/ mechanic and then the rider comes into play when you level the playing field. Crotchrocket the attendance picked up for the et class cause some people cannot keep up with the heads up guys. Nox thats exactly right. thats why you let the streetbike guys do there thing without all that. that industry will not suffer. it would help prostar participation and attendance though. and i am impressed to see the Parelli contegency for steet tire offer. think about the headers, the shocks, even the headwork and cams. Carpenter puts his logo engraved on his work. web cams also mark theirs. the pistons are labeled too. im sure others do i just dont have exact info on them. I saw someone somewhere complaining about not being very many kawasakis at the atlanta race. the fact that the aftermarket industry is more suzuki oriented warents this non participation. if a more strict lower budjet heads up streetbike class was done then the kaws will show up for the grazing.

In bracket racing you always want to be chasing..........
gives the other guy the chance to red light first, and weather does not affect a fast motor as much as a slow motor...................
