Spradling24,
I see you are in Indiana, so I'll make you a deal......I'm sure some anxious psychobike ZX-12 owner would be willing to loan you a muzzy sidewinder for this test... :

Bring your bike, sporting the muzzy sidewinder, to my dyno here Dayton, OH- hell; borrow the best map/pipe combination you can find! Baffle in-out/whatever. We will pull your bike on the dyno- I'll even touch up your map to make max power with the muzzy, if you like. Until YOU are satisfied with the results....

Then, we will do the same with my 4-2-1 sidewinder- apples to apples. If we don't beat the Muzzy- I will GIVE you my sidewinder FOR FREE!

If my 4-2-1 Sidewinder out-performs the muzzy- you pay me full retail ($1145) and I will completely map your bike to my pipe to sweeten the deal for your time/effort.

Let me know if you are interested.

Does anyone have a Muzzy sidewinder I could borrow? I wish everyone would stand next to their product like Brock is.

Understand 1 thing, He took every Exhaust that has a Drag pipe to Canada and they looked at what each one of them could do and the weak points then built a pipe that they felt was better. After all, how many 4-2-1 Sidewinders do you see?? There must be a reason why someone spent the time and expense to make one!

Guys,
Thanks for the vote of confidence!

We try very hard here and the guys at Hindle work with us like you can not believe.

Vincent....so you know Lang and I are now officially FLATTERED....they say imitation is the sincerest form....;o)

I guess the guys on the other side of the country decided to see just how far off their own design was:

http://www.muzzys.com/ZX10/ZX10_Sidewinder/index.html "edited link"

That's right...POOF, a copy of our 4-2-1 sidewinder?!

Sort of sad they had to do it this way...oh well.

All is well here at Brock's Performance...we had record sales every month in 2005.

I guess it proves that our customers have more confidence in INVOVATION....... rather than duplication!

He-he,

Brock

Brock, now that I also have a ZRX, Thanks for the "PUSH" for a Step Tube on that one also!!

I am sort of making my own form of (Step-Tube) by taking the Mid Pipe and with a little cutting, flaring and welding made the Mid Pipe stepped to the 2.25 pipe and the 2.25 Inlet Race Muffler. (You need more space to keep up the speed of the flow as it cools) This is my shot. I will send a Picture when done.

Looking at everything every one is doing, (RIGHT NOW ) you are still pushing for the 12 and it is appreciated.

I saw the Word INNOVATION! Dave Owen, what can be said!! Congrats on your year!

So Brock, you were the first person to ever do a 4-2-1 Pipe- Congrats!!!

hmmmm..... did you ever think that maybe Muzzys came up to that conclusion on their own.. maybe they heard great things about your pipe, and thought cool lets try some stuff, or maybe not but do you really know?
you know I dont think I have ever seen Rob say anything bad about your stuff, why would you say negative things about them?

I have even thought about buying one of your pipes, since Karl has said such great things about you. I respect him a ton. But I really did want to see the #'s so it will be interesting to see what the # differance is between them, I even sent my pipe down to JC to have them test them together, but they did not have time to do the Muzzy...

Mike, I think the Key here was a word not used "Sidewinder". I have been around for a while and his was the first 4-2-1 "Sidewinder" I ever saw. Exhaust systems are sort of like computers, Last is first and first is last. If you are first out of the gate, then people have something to shoot at and can usually inprove on it. The way first stays first is to never be happy with the Status Quo and improve on their own design before someone else does which is what may or may not have happened here

I have never seen a Muzzys Sidewinder on a 12 MPH with mine, with similar mods......

Muzzys makes a good product, but Brock's is better....., hell, just the fit and finish compared to the muzzys on the 12 is worth it..........

thanks again Brock......
