yep, 6th.

Here's a tip: do not test your button shifter/delay box at low-ish rpm, WOT...

Lucky me, it did NOT take out many other parts.

Nope, no accident, did it intentionally!!!

I couldn't get it to button shift at the Texas shootout (still won 1st round ).

Fixed some wiring and was testing on the street. Thought i'd put it under load buy going WOT at 3500rpm in 5th hit the button see if it shifted. Good Idea, eh? not a lot of noise or speed?

ENT!! Havn't you worked on that thing enough that it owed you one and gave you a break?? Man 0 Man, you really did not need that one!

Just make sure to clean all of the Oil Passage ways with a fluid and forced Air a few times first!

Yep,
we both are "owed a break", but as ole farts, we know that we'll beat it, just a matter of time.

And anyway, i'm getting better at pulling the motor apart

Sucks Karl, hope there's no associated damage. I can relate to the bittersweet skill of case-splitting. "Hey, I'll get to take a look at the rod bearings..." Oh boy.

You going to any more races on the Eaast coast this year?

no time for any more races this year: got a Bangkok - Jakarta - Singapore, Kazakhstan - London - Johannesburg set of trips I gotta make.

No real damage other than the trans and a ding on the pressure plate, so I am lucky!

Ry,
I've been thinking about it and how much work it would be to to take the 10" arm off, move the battery, shorten chain, etc, etc, etc.

And then I thought, fuk it; just put on an 18/42, safety wire all kindo o' stuff & run it.

Ryan, Gary, JC, VH, Bergie, more!, all you speed freaks! Let's do a 2006 weekend in Goliad, Texas!!! Party down at the Antler's Inn!! Breakfast at the Chevron station!
