Finally ran the numbers i was hoping for tell me what ya think
Current set up is 01 gsxr 1000 stock internals brock sidewinder 40 shot of gas wired to wide open throttle switch.
Two dial progressive box spraying off the line. Rider weight 330 suited ( NO weight jokes please im on a diet). Only run 1/8 mile best time so far 6.39 at 115. Note clutch did go on next pass not sure if it was slippin or not. Okay bike was at 61in. Had to short shift first and second to keep it down. NO weight added anywheres. If anything i have removed all i can. Im going to make the bike longer prob around 65 or so maybe longer if traction is there. I figure that will help quite a bit seeing how i can turn my box up some. Here is where im at i have about 900.00 bucks to spend this winter. I have everything (air shifter, shift light,) all that good stuff.
Im looking at a multi stage or possible data logger seeing how there are no dyno's withing a few hours from where i live. I dont really have any clutch problems that one had about 100 or more passes. I havent really dialed in the nos set up only ran it 5 times all passes low 6.4 and 6.3. I know thats not great but take into consideration my weight. There is a pic of the bike in the 1000's section. Under i think a sidewinder post. Any suggestions would be great thanks.
NOTE: I do this for fun i dont really race anyone in my area im the fastest which isnts saying much. I just like to have fun and do what we all love.

Perhaps the ZX 14 !

For your weight it sounds like you are doing pretty good so far. I don't think you need to go longer than 62-64 though. A multistage may hep a bit with mph due to the lock up...

With your weight, traction should not be a problem with the longer WB and less wheelies more ET. Get the A/F Data logger for $300+ and then you can read your own runs and make adjustments. At 1/8 Ton I do not have traction problems like Randall at 150 fully dressed!

David.......
6.30's @ 330 pounds is impressive in my book!
My opinion would be to experiment with gearing changes and practice, practice, practice.

Hey guys good news. I ran back to back 6.17 at 117 tonight. All we done was made here a longer about 67in or so. I believe i can get a lil more out of her since my bottle had to be getting low. Made five passes spraying the whole track. I was able to cut my progressive box down to 1.5 sec at 50% and still no wheelie. Heck i might try and spray it off the line. Check this out normal 60ft times around 1.62 to 1.64. Uhh had a 1.48 tonight. Damn that felt so good. Im gonna frame it.
Question for all you fast guys. I can add a lil more nos like go from a 40 shot to a 50 you think that will give me any et. Dang it would be so nice to run a low 6.0 or a 5.9 also i think im gonna get me some good fuel. Cause i heard mrx01 is good for about a tenth or so. Just think stock motor gsxr 1000 rider 342 in street clothes could go some 5's. It has a 36 jet in it. Thought about tryin a 40.
thanks so much.

you need to make bike 4 speed in 1/8 . you need to gear it where it crosses finish line ready to get on rev limiter.each tooth on rear is worth 200 rpms @ finish line. you should make pass and check tach at traps.it will also make it easier on hole machine and clutch. especially with your weight . you will also be able to lower launch rpm .if bike is 3 speed now and you go to 4 speed it will pick you up at least 2 tenths in 1/8 jc

also you might see if someone can mod your ecm to rev a little higher. it will let you run more gear and pull a little further in each gear. and rember its all about the 60 ft . get the clutch out and get to 100% throttle asap.

Right now i think it is at the top of fourth. Ill have to go check my data. AI think i will mess with some gearing soon. But heck with a full bottle who knows what it will do . That was my 4th pass on an 2.5lb bottle. so you know it was low. Thanks OLDKAWBOY.

You lost 3 tenths is less than a month. I think your on the right track.
Only 1 tenth away from a "5".
good luck.

Good job, you're moving for a big guy. I wouldn't run oxygenated fuel with nitrous though - stick with high octane fuel and bump the jet if you want more power. -Dean
