Tranny mods

What are the recommended tranny mods for high-hp applications (300hp or so) to make shifts while spinning (at the strip).

If you are really spinning the tire, the best tranny in the world isn't gonna make it shift. If you can't unload the torque somehow, it won't disengage the current gear.

The "nitrous cut" is made to shift while spinning, some of the dogs are cut out. I have seen bikes at my home track shift while sliding sideways, so it does work........., otherwise, Rand D, and Oreint Express, (who did mine, real fast and great work), and Fast by Gast would not be doing it to everyones bikes.

I've never heard of a nitrous cut NOX, can you explain how it works? I had MRE 'procut' my trans, including cutting half the dogs off, but it won't disengage when it's spinning. -Dean

I dont know the details, but i know they mod the shift drum as well, it is a lot of trick stuff, and I did not splurge on my tranny, just had it undercut for now, we have a machine shop, I can cut the dogs myself.....

I know the guys that have it done at my home track, NEVER miss a shift, and their bikes almost fall into gear on a stand......, all the places do it, R and D being the largest name, but you will have to wait a month or two to get it back, had mine in seven days from Orient Express, ...., Skip is good people.

not to sure exactly? I believe just undercut....
I know it looked great, but I never really had a problem with shifting, I just did it as one of those precautionary items...
