How predictable you are RA. First you're "looking for a Kcadby motor to race", and now you " don't have time to chase people down". Shocking.

Once again, hope to see you in Memphis.

I beg to differ RA. I have a 2000 zx-12, whose motor as NEVER been touch internally or removed from the frame. I weigh 180 pounds naked, and I have numerous tickets with my bike going over 122 mph in the 1/8th and 150 plus in the 1/4. Geared with a 16/46 sprockets. My best is a 9.31 which was backed up with another 9.31.....but get this, my mph dropped to 144 on both of those runs. My past tickets had me going continually quicker but the same mph range 148 - 150 mph . My bike had dynoed at 177hp at two different shops. I really think my 12 would go in the 9.0's with a low 1.40 sixty foot. I will accept ANYONES challenge that this motor has EVER been removed from the bike...........I need some more 401k money.

Dean, your are right about predictable, "NO Lockin" but I should chase you guys for what?!?! Shake hands........ You will eventually meet me, just be ready when I step up to your trailor.

KZZ!, I never said what my combo was going to be, nor do I care what KCADBY's combo is..... Just N/A to N/A.

People, stop making this complicated, i will bring my best and he bring what he thinks he needs, whatever combo that is as long as KCADBY built it!!! (ps. make sure it has the special cam timing too that you and your shop cant talk about.....hahahahahha)

wow. lots to read here.

Ra, I just wanted to chime in that I also have probably a dozen 150mph+ time-slips for my stock engine, stock wheelbase 2000 12R. The engine had NEVER been out of the bike.
Most of those runs are in the 9.3x or low 9.4x range.

Mad Mike can probably recall my doing this at Indy Prostar a few years ago, and I can guarantee that Brock D. will vouch as well, assuming you think he's trustworthy. (we hit the same local tracks)

I'm still on the stock swingarm, but engine is rebuilt with a 1287cc kit, soon to be on the road again.

Ken, I went 9.29 @ 146mph in May at Gainesville on my 1287. 17/48 gearing was hitting the limiter at the first cone in the traps so it'd kill my mph. Going to fifth didn't help so I'd just pull the clutch in. It was just the wrong gearing. With gearing to go the distance it runs 148-149mph on average (153mph on one occasion, when it was stock wheelbase).

Oh and I was 240lbs suited.

Ra seems to run from board to board arguging with people and getting bashed on. I used to argue with him till I realized he was an idiot. I saw him on psychobike just the other day getting ragged on by someone. Hes a fuck off, doesnt race, just an internet jockey....

Thank's for the support (as usual) folks...

John's 1260 made 200.8 (NO dyno-operator fudge-ing...I DON'T BELIEVE IN or need to do that)...
It made that power MONTHS ago when the air was MUCH better than it is now...
THAT was the point I was trying to make about "going so SLOW" last Sat. night because the air is horrible here right now...it's been over 100* in the dyno cell for the last 2-weeks sky-high HUmid also...
i WILL post GOOD #s this fall/winter on this bike...you can mark my words on that

I agree with the above statement that some made about MPH going up on some "not as quick runs"...I've seen/done it...
But of coarse it depends on the endless variables involved...

As usual...this is a waste of time with you Ra...
I have never liked being around (starting in Jr-High school MANY years ago) "mouthy big ego people"...
It is for that reason...I don't care if I ever see...let alone meet you Ra...

I have nothing to prove to anyone but myself...I have always been that way...
IF I happen to do something better than someone else in the process???
Well then OK...
That doesn't make me better than them...or anyone else...
I DO admit howerver that I enjoy it when I "do better on a particular run" against "mouthy-big-ego-people

I am always the 1st person to tell someone when I don't "know" something rather than BS them like many people do...
And I have many times lost out on work just for that very reason...
I have learned that it is sometimes seen as a lack of confidence/experience (if you don't KNOW the person "telling the truth")...
Were as...a "good BS-er" can get the work in a heartbeat if they sound like they know what they are talking about...
That's OK with me...I sleep good at night knowing that I have done my best while at the same time been totaly honest...

I will NEVER bow to you ra...never EVER...
There ARE people that I have seen and met that I VERY much bow-to for they're accomplishments...Byron Hynes and Terry Vance...1st off the top of my head...
You to date Ra have only given me reason to do the oposite...LOL...
It would not bother me in the least if EVERTHING you build/do is "better than me/mine"...
The way you rant...it sure as hell should be...

It is few and FAR between when ANYONE makes a "perfect run" (my 9.0s @ 151+ on John's bike YEARS ago WERE close though...LOL)...
Whoever "screws-up-the-least"??? is the one that wins on any particular run...
That is unless they really do have that much more power to make up for the "mistakes"...

VERY sorry Nukedog to be part of mud-ing up your thread...
I personaly HAVE run the times that have been posted here...
And once again...it doesn't matter to me "doesn't believe"...

DEAN...Ryan is working on YOUR head as I type this
I'm gonna go and Cut the valves now...
Or maybe we should have Ra do it?!?!?! LOL

Ugh, I know. Around June/July I weighed in at 235lbs naked.

I've lost about 15lbs in the past 3 weeks or so just cutting out the junk, drinking LOTS of water and cutting sodas out completely. Plus I've been running alot lately getting ready for the new job, lol. The goal is to get under 200lbs, which I haven't been in 7 years.

Ya know, this little smack RA tries to run might be ok if it were in some kinda friendly/fun way, but it's not, and I really don't see the point in the whole thing anyway. What's there to prove, and why ? Bullshit.

ARH, I've noticed the same thing.

Hey, 9.29 at true heavy hitter/TFA spec ain't too shabby, lol.

Now if I could just get back down to the 169lbs I weighed 10yrs ago... could have an 8sec N/A bike... course I'd look like a little pansy girlie man, but damn I'd be fast, hahaha :P

AnotherRedHead, you are simply shallow, yes I posted on psychobike for all to read. I posted on a discusting behavior about a CHEATER!!! Anyone defending CHEATERS can say what they want and show their stupidity. I guess you didn't read the content of the post?! Not suprising.

Once again this started as a simple statement and WOW, all the hate starts flying!!! I still stand by what I have said. I am glad to hear that stock zx12's go 150MPH, that is all the better for everyone including myself as I am a fellow zx12 owner.

The first time I commented some years ago is because of that exact thing......back to the name calling I see....plus you now have created a reason to run and hide. YAWN!!! As all should clearly notice, I have not posted one time or posted any HP numbers. Yet, I am the one bragging? I am the one ranting? I just called you out plain and simple!!!!! You are hiding behind all your defenses for being less than you have BRAGGED, just like the people in Jr. High that you liked the least. You are just like them, by YOUR OWN ACTIONS.

This is about motors and racing, not your personal esteem issues. Keep that crap to yourself. Truly, I don't expect anything from you KCADBY, cause this is not personal it never was and never will be.

Sure sounds personal to me... and until now I can't say that I've ever seen someone contradict themselves from one paragraph to another.

Seriously, what are you trying to prove and why ? What's the point of all this ?

No times from you, no nothing. Just some internet enigma that for some reason has a hard-on for anything that Kevin posts about a motor he built or how fast he ran on whatever bike... and still hasn't said what his real problem his.
