ANYBODY runing a 1270 w/ 105in./105ex. Cam Timing?
If anyone responds, I would like to obtain a Dyno Graph to determine the RPM power drop off point.
Also, do you happen to know your compression psi cold??
I am currently running 105 in / 100 ex. on my 1270 and my cold psi is 245 a hole. I would like to bleed off some pressure by retarding(?) the exhaust cam.
Thanks!

We are running 108/108 and +10 degrees duration on the cams with a little more lift. The bike hangs on to the power (197 SAE) til the limiter with no drop from 10,300 up. In theory closing up the centres will you give you more top end power but in practice it's more complicated than that and gas speeds and port sizes come into play. Our head is ported too, with stock valves.

Ryan Schnitz ran 105/105 on his 1270. I know of a couple of 1290's running 105/105.

We are running 105/105 on our 1270. Do not have a dyno graph but I do have a power commander map.
