K&N's VS Stock filters........
I know there have been alot of discussions on this topic. I have never seen any results. Anyone ever dyno test this and find an definate answer...

been here done that...
Like I have posted several times on my dyno runs I picked up 4HP. just droping them in. stock,K&N,stock runs 4HP with K&N's best bang for the $$ I have spent so far!

I have them in all I really noticed was throttle response. But was unsure of whether I was working against myself or not. My Bike went 10.227@139 with a good light rider on it. Was hoping for 9's. Looking to pick up some horse somewhere. I have a Muzzy with dyno tuned PCIIIR,17tooth,Clutch springs,K&N's and monster snorkle. I put the K&N's and snorkle on after they dyno tuned it. Was wondering if its worth it to be retuned on the dyno... 20 pounds air pressure in rear.... Bike went
R/T .530
60' 1.766
330' 4.563
1/8 6.752
MPH 112.62
1000' 8.614
1/4 10.227
MPH 139.27
Whats it gonna take for 9's???? Thanxxxx Guys...
Went exactly 10.227 Both times..Exactly one at 139MPH and 1 at 141MPH

when orient xpress did my 99 busa,they showed a 2hp gain w/k+n on the busa and said they've seen a consistent 4hp gain w/zx12s

I have an Akropovic and same mods (except snorkle)....went 9.90@ 147.5...Early season....then I started racing the Busa. 
I am a lighweight....but it seems to me that you should be in the 9's right now!!!!

Are you (or the rider)reving the bike all the way to redline???? Seems like a very low mph for the mods you have. 60ft looks ok, the 330 has to come down though. You are a good 3/4 second off the faster riders here.
Tell the rider to rev the piss out of the bike!

Ya...no offence but...that's NOT fast for those mods...
I weigh 165(no gear) and have been 9s on STOCK PIPES...
You are NOT using all the power you have now??? IMHO...
Get a strap for the front if your having wheelie problems...
As TurboB says...take it to...if not INto the redline a bit...
You should be running through the traps in 4th gear at at LEAST 144mph...
Mike...you STILL haven't sent me this "magic map" that you talk about...I would like to see it...
