carillos: any special orientation??
OK, I have the cases, block, crank, bearings, starter gear/clutch, etc, and i'm gonna start clearancing.
BUT, there is an "A" on the endcaps, does it go towards the front, or back??
The rods seem to be symetrical???
any other orientation tips??
Thanks, all, for the clearancing tips, especially ra12r who sent a bunch of pix

Thx, John,
I numbered all rods, gave an orientation and put the "A" on the caps towards the front.

We haven't bolted it together yet, but I think Carillo says to strectch em a to a spec, but don't exceed a tq spec.

What clearance are you going to set? I am about to assemble the bottom end of my ZRX, using .003" for the rods.

.003 sounds kinda big, Dean. Not saying it's too big but I'm not sure you'll be able to get there unless the crank is slightly under. I wound up using the largest(black?) on mine cause I like em on the big side also. I think there's only .0002 between the colors? Not much.
