I need help
Today I installed a Billet basket and when I toque down the nut on the clutch hub (Muzzys clutch kit) to 100 ft lb, The clutch hub will no longer spin with the turn of my hands. Is this normal???? I have the washer on the back of the hub and the washer on the front of the hub with the writing on the outside.
Thanks

You might not have the Oil Pump Gear aligned right???
It should turn FREELY when nut is tight...

I put it all together and started the bike up. It seems to be alright. I adjusted the clutch the best I could and took it for a spin. It shifted a little clunky and when I am stopped and pull the clutch in and put it in gear it clunks!!! If I did not have it on the oil pump gear right what would of happend????

BAD BAD BAD!!!! NO NO NO!!! It MUST SPIN FREELY!! you could have done MAJOR damage, have a friend that did something similar and broke his cases........ stop drop and roll.... take the cover and clutch off now...

When you started the bike up did the oil light stay on???
When you take the clutch cover off, look at the right side of the basket...Between the basket and the engine case you will see teeth from a gear...Look at the teeth from the basket gear and make sure it's a little offset behind the engine gear...If so then the basket is inplace!!!
Make sure the needle bearing sleeve has the holes facing you and the hub nut washer is in proper direction as stated on the washer...
It was clunking probably because it was cold...With the BilletBasket you will hear more noise coming from the clutch...When you pull the clutch in you'll see what I mean!!!

Thanks
I took it all apart, even took the basket off. Everything looked alright, no cracks or anything broken. When I put the clutch hub in this time it spun freely. I took it for a spin and it is still a little clunky when shifting. I will adjust the clutch again. The oil light did not stay on the first time or this time, so I guess that is a good sign.
