may be a stupid question but... what is their purpose? besides, they're already overshadowed in their pimpedness by the CF wheels, full CF peg mounts (forget what they're called) which i've never seen before, and the CF brake rotors. pretty slick.

I think the point is to show off the pimpness of not having a rear brake lever 
Seriously, seen his stuff on the Busa boards. He MAKES the CF rear sets. Also made the swingarm and CF panels. Pretty sure he makes some other cool items as well. Kinda like the "Dino" of CF to the Busa guys, lol. Sweet bike
