I know a guy who used on a bone stock twelve at 64 inches and a dry shot, slammed with a sidewinder cut some high 1.30 60 foots with a slider. The guy was also a lightweight jocket who leaves on the revlimiter.

Not locals... but you can meet them if you like in March.

And the term "stock" is deceiving... I should say a "HD sprung, billet basket, non lockup equipped" clutch.
66", shootout tire.

I heard that Jason Miller has pretty fair clutch/throttle control; maybe the aspiring champs can take him on, no need to import 2 "outa town talents".

Dean, wazzup up wit chew? making any passes?

I know, I know, just dishing a little back out to you Steve

Karl, painful as it is, I haven't been making any passes. It took me 3 weeks to find an intermittent ignition problem, but I think I'm finally ready to start dialing in the bike. Next weekend is the last Saturday TNT at Gainesville, and I will be there when the gates open if it kills me. Then hopefully Sunday Kevin will have a block for me, and I'll put in some JE slugs and crank up the boost. How's the new motor working out? You have a multi-stage MTC clutch in your 12?

Dean,
good luck on Sat; i hope Fla is getting better weather than TX, damn rain - rain - rain.

I've been on the road again, last 2 weeks in SE Asia (no tales here )), this week CA/NY, next week Toronto/Mississippi. I remind myself of that ole Johnny Cash song; "I've been everywhere..." Little time to mess w/the bike.

AND, when we were doing the Brock SW dyno testing, i decided to go back into the motor and fiddle with stuff. JC is doing that while i collect FF miles.

I do have a multistage now but have put only 3 passes on it. The LM-1 really helps set it up, but i haven't had enough track time to make final adjustments. Alot a guys would be surprised to see what their throttle hand was up to when they were "WOT"
