6-gear gearing?
What gearing will use all 6 at 165-170mph?

17-51 put me through at 161mph in 6th gear on nitrous. Probably had room to get to 165 but not 170.
Maybe 17-49 or 17-48.

There's a freeware gearing calculator that is perfect for this. With wheel diameter, crank & clutch teeth, each gear ratio & sprocket size, you can calculate each gear's top speed at a given redline.

I can't get to the calculator from here at work, but shouldn't it be the final drive ratio they're asking for ?

The calculator needs all the gear ratios from crank to drive sprocket, it has no OEM data from specific bikes. I think you can get it from the OEM parts diagrams.
