Who is Rickey's Crew? I know 1 of them!
This is What Bear Racing has been Up to?? I Just Spoke to Pierre today.
"I know it will be a challenge," Gadson said. "But we're thinking about a top-five finish this year. Pro Stock Bike racing in the NHRA is the pinnacle of drag racing. All the races and championships I've won in the past mean nothing when we roll up to the starting line in Gainesville. But the good news is we all start from zero."
Harry and Rickey have decided on a real wild card for there crew, with the young South African 20 year old JP Labuschagne from the Bear Racing team, the boy showed his tallents in many ways and has built bikes on par with racing legend Rob Muzzy
JP is the son of Pierre Labuschagne owner of the BEAR racing team, JP home build the fastest street bike shootout bike in Africa, the bike currently holds the Africa record at 8.12 et over the ΒΌ mile and equalled 2003 world record at 7.56 at the 2004 world finals
Rickey and JP have been good friends and been working together over the phone for the last 3 years. JP does all the work on the bikes himself from fabrication, machining set-up and preparation.At the world finals in 2004 JP helped to get Rickey back in to the race after Rickey's motor broke in the semi Finals,The boy swapped the motors in a record time and Rickey was ready to race in the Finals.
These are the words of a proud Dad and maybe a little overstated but it is what happened. (On the One claim about Muzzy, I will say that it was with Muzzy Knowledge and Parts on the one bike, but the other Bike (The one with the Intercooler) that was all their Idea that just did not have the time to be sorted out. Of Course we all know that the word "Helped" is the Key word about getting Rickey's bike Back in the race. It was Doug Meyer, The Truck Driver (I can never remember his name but he worked well with Doug) not to mention Mr. Adam Performance that also had a little to do with getting the bike back in then race. But, Like Rickey, he is a very Cool Head, easy to get along with under pressure and a Sharp Kid that did come up with "Things" that made their bike Very Reliable.

Hopefully it will be like the Falcons this year after being "freed" from Dan Reeves. Dan simply held Vick back and even favored Chandler......... Now the falcons are superbowl bound!!!! Go Rickey and Team!!! Should be fun to see who Rickey and Team can beat............

AMEN! There are great coaches but they must have a team that thinks and plays like they think and want the team to Play. You cannot have a running team play for a Passing coach!
