Rolling resistance

Guys i have went over my budget this winter allready. Thanks to ebay i was able to get wayyy wayy more than i wanted. I wanted some ceramic bearings but you know how that goes. Right now i have a x ring chain and stock front and rear bearings. Is there anything i can do like remove xrings. I heard you can remove dust seals on tha wheels. I dont street ride anymore. Do i remove the seals or just cut them out a lil bit. What do i lube them with, how often, and how do i get to them at the track.

Also has anyone tested these mods. Such as times and performance.

You can run your axled alittle loose.

Best bet is to cut the orings outta your chain if you dont want to buy a non oring one.
Light lube like WD40 will suffice.
Your rear caliper pads can be sanded down or go to a shop and find a used set that came off a customers bike.
Front calipers should be cleaned well and checked for drag. Your front wheel should spin freely without the calipers hanging. Then check the calipers for dragging. You can remove some brake fluid from the reservoir so the pistons can push back further and not "kiss" your rotors.
RUn some extra PSI in the front tire to help rolling resistance.
Its the simple things that make the difference.
A lightweight rear rotor could save about 1/2 lb at a minimum. Also a different brake hanger/caliper would save weight too.
Get rid of the stock bulky front reservoir and replace with a ZX9 or 6 model. Should save you about 1lb there.
Delete your bar ends.
Remove any garbage from the battery box.

TB are u talking about running wd 40 on the chain or front and rear bearings. This is a gsxr 1000, Not sure about the zx6. wont that slow me down lol. The front brakes are dragging. So i need to remove fluid. Any other things that might make it drag.

Put the ceramic bearings with the dust covers in a friends Busa last year and what a difference it makes. Just try it first with them in and then decide if you want the extra maintance headache. It will push around easier than a 600 sport bike. We also put a new non- O ring chain on it.
