I assume most will want to race, or at least watch, the MIRock event on 11/12th, so we'll also have plenty of opportunities to eat crab and suck down $200 worth of beer as an appetizer.
This area is the crab cake capital of the world!!!!
Can this just get any better?????

Entropy- are all the spots paid for and secured? If not a buddy of mine wants in on this. He should be a member of the site by now and will post up. He should also be sending you a PM to ask about the event. His name is Keith and he rides a stretched Booska.

Not quite yet. I'm going back to my good head, cams and pistons, this time with a spring steel gasket. I fear I need smaller bore pistons to keep enough meat between the sleeves though. Worth a shot. CR should come out below 10:1. More importantly - I just put a TO4B compressor on my T3 turbine - 45 lb/min vs. 34 -and more efficent past 20lbs boost. The boost controller makes me greedy for power on the back half. Hope to have the motor together and tuned for next Saturday's TNT at Gainesville.
I did get a pair of Bates Fastlanes for Christmas - from myself. Very nice. A bargain Vanson 2pc drag suit comes next month. My old leathers are starting to fall apart, and the Simpsons have holes in the toes.
Make it to the track yet with the new pistons? Hey...didn't you say something about spraying your mountain-motor 12 once? You gonna spring that on us in June and clean up?

Dean,
with new leathers and a bigger compressor you will be ready to ROCK soon, eh? Headgasket problems? As you know i had plenty of that grief. Taking a couple thou off the head and block to make damn sure they are truly flat seemed to cure my problems but who knows...
I'm hoping to get a few passes on Sun on the new motor. It'll be cold as fuk (lo 50's) so I have no expectations on ET, but maybe roll outa the hole and see what mph it'll pull???
JohnnyCheese has started collecting the parts to spray my heap, but we are in no rush. He'll set it up with a mojo wet kit, but we'll start off testing with tiny lil popcorn farts of juice, progressively turn up the shot till it starts popping headgaskets. I'm interested in your thoughts/experience.
A couple o' folks say that spraying on top of hi compression is fine (w/keeeerful setup/tuning); we'll see.

Cold weather is an all-motor man's best friend - drop some tire pressure and set it on kill!!!
I have heard a careful tuneup will make a hi comp nitrous motor hard to beat. I'm sure Cheese has a lot more experience than I do. It sucks the plugs are so hard to get to - that was the easiest way for me to keep an eye on things.
