OK, boyz & girl,
we seem to have consensus-ed ourselves into MIR as the place; a Fri as the day of the week. (maybe thurs if it is combined w/ Jason Miller's school).
Q: when do we wanna do it?
how about each person state their date preference, and absolute black out days. (i'll collect responses here)
when we get a consensus on the preferred time period, maybe we can prevail upon Dr. Bergie to do his magic on track logistics????
consideration:
We could schedule it for the Thursday prior to either of the following and make it a 4-day race weekend.
Jason Miller has Streetbike Seminars on the Friday before these events
Saturday & Sunday, June 11-12,MIROCK Fast By Gast Summer Showdown
or
Saturday & Sunday, July 9-10, MIROCK Fast By Gast / WPGC Bike Fest

After June 14th. I get 4 weeks vacation on the 14th, so anytime after that I can use it.

Jason Miller also conducts a full day of motorcycle only private track rentals / Streetbike Seminars on the Friday before these events, cost for that is $100 including lunch and personal instruction.
I could talk to Jason, and book just the Friday instead as a private event for just our group and have him available as a personal instructor, basically book his school (20 participants), and have our racing classes setup for that afternoon as well.
The other option is the Thursday group event, followed by an optional Friday Jason Miller school event for which you register with Jason in advance, then if you want MIR has a $15 Friday night TNT / ET Trophy racing, and Saturday and Sunday is the Superbike Showdown event.

Generally private track rentals are limited to 20 participants but we can likely work around that if we have additional riders.

July 9-10 is the same weekend at Moto GP @ Laguna.
June might be good though.

June- July is questionable? Great Lakes Motorcycle Nationals is sometime in June and in July is an all motorcycle event at our local track. Depends on what date the event will be and won't know until the tracks opens closer to spring. I know ZX12 Girl wants a repeat of her 04 Great Lakes Motorcycle Nationals streetbike champ for 2005. BTW.... Are we voting on which race track to go? I vote for Memphis

I say we do it on a Friday and set it up like a Jason Miller seminar along with our classes.I'm flexible for the date,the sooner the better.The Fridays before the races in June seem like a good time.

I can do any weekend in june or july as long as it doesn't interfere with the hardcore bike race. (I'm guessing that will be the same for Mad Mike but I don't want to speak for him.) That is one weekend in june and one weekend in july. Unfortunatly their schedule isn't out probably until the end of january...

they try and stay away from the MIR/Rock races. So I am hoping they don't do that weekend! I will email them and try and make sure they scedule for the weekend we want!
