Clutch grabs too much at dragstrip.
I am reposting to post fresh:
Check out my case guys;after 25 runs or so my ZX-10R clutch grabs too much ;it hardly slips when trying to launch hard ;instead it bogs down a whole bunch instantly from high rpm down drastically (shortl after take off)or I wheelie like I have no choice and I ruin my launch no matter how hard I try to slip.
Am told I could have bent steel plate; make sense?? yet to open to see and inspect ;
will appreciate info on what should I try or expect. .... Are plates sold individually by Kawasaki if thats all I need.?
I want to get to the point I can slip more for decent 60 ft times; currently have 7 inch swingarm extension, bike lowered , geared low, and using a Mickey Thompson MCR radial that sticks reeeeel good at the strip.
Bike runs fine for the street as is;no problems there...
Thanks for any experienced input!
Have fun;ride safe.

sounds like clutch problems,
Only way to tell what's wrong is
to pull the plates and inspect.
Blued or warped steels will cause your problem.

If it was a bad bent steel plates then you would notice during street riding...
How many passes did you make before letting the bike rest/cool down???
Do as we all do with the 12, 2-3 back to back passes then let it cool down about 20 minutes witht he oil cap off...
put in fresh frictions and steels!!!
