God was watching out!
I was in the staging lanes waiting for my turn.I had the engine off because the temp was already at 8 oclock.Started her up to go to the burnout box when they started yelling at me,oil pouring out of the fairing.Oil filter loosened,funny but there was a hose clamp on there already,I just didnt safety wire it.Glad it wasn't during a run
Seeing how I was at a test & tune,I didn't care about the lights so I decided to try something different.On the 2nd yellow,I would look down and watch the tach on the launch.I start at 5000 and would excelerate to 8000 and freeze.I swear I had enough time to cook some eggs and homefries before I would go wot.A real eye opener!The good news is it didn't spin or lift up,so my confidence was growing use to the power.Eh,next time!

The was very good about the filter, I had mine come loose crossing the finish line on 3 different occassions. Covering the rear tire and EXTREME SMOKE OUT, so on deceleration the rear tire starts sliding and fishtailing.....at over 140MPH!!! Brand new filter, never had the problem before, but this one filter tried to kill me. I would check the filter prior to the run and it would loosen by the end of the quarter....CRAZY Ultimately on the last time it spun a bearing.

Thanks for reminding me why I safety wire my oil filter.

If had to of those autozone "Douche-bag " come off on two different cars.
That'll never happen again, because i wouldn't use them it they were free.
I believe it's a quality control issue.

Hmmm.... I use STP oil filters from Autozone and never had one loosen up but then again I tighten them up with an oil filter wrench.
