Ran the 1/8th mile for the first time...
We had a Summit Series today at Infineon Raceway. They ground the top half of the track to get ready for the big National race next weekend, so they decided to only run 1/8th mile today. Man, what a totally different mindset. The best I could do was 6.19 @ 114 mph.
I ended up breaking out by 0.001 seconds in the first round and losing because by the time I thought about lifting, I already crossed the line. Duh...
I still prefer the 1/4 mile, but the 1/8th was still fun. You really gotta be on your game right off the line. I'll be more prepared next time.

Makes you want to shoot for a 5 second 8th mile pass huh ?

Not really. I'd rather shoot for 8.90 in the 1/4.

I'm always doing tha 1/8mi . I've only ran the 1/4 one time, and I like it better.
