Bolt on Swingarm extensions?

ok who out there uses bolt on extensions? do they work? are they safe?

I am not a serious drag racer, I like twisites to much to put a permanent stretch in the swingarm. I have seen a few of these, but I never see them at the track...would like to hear from a few of you that have used them or have some kind of expierence with them....Thanks

best 1/8th time on a completely stock 12 is 6.8@117 mph, adn on my ZX6RR I ran a 7.5@97 mph...my 60ft times suck major....lol

Nothing wrong with them. Put a few sets on. Just use loc-tite on the bolts and snug your axle well.

I ran a set of spencer cycle extensions for one season. They worked fine.
I had no issues at all.

Nick from Cycle Tricks does. I think Doug said he could drill and tap the Spencer extensions for another $20.

rock on, I will give Doug a call if I decide to go that route....I just cant see not being able to change my tires or use my dam stands on the bike....lol

I am taking it that this isnt a very popular option...I dont go to the track much, but I have never seen a set at the track....hmmmm

i don't have them, but i see them at the track sometimes.
Usually by the time most racer is ready for extention, the have the
drag bug. One guy ~ 300lbs has run the the past 2 years.

i have 5" welded on my arm (blocks) then i have also added the spencer boltons no problem whatsoever. they even look better than a lot of those that cost more. the spencer blocks are the bomb.

I have them on my bike.... No issues. You cant tell the difference from a permanent welded arm.

thanks for the info fellas, I am taking it that not a lot of people are running extensions.....I just cant just justify the use of a permanent long arm....I like curves way too much....these extensions are looking more nd more like the thing I need....

anyone else hve expierence with these?
