A couple are using 17/50, some are using 16T CS only, stock rear. I've got a 49T rear on mine, roughly the same % change as you.

how much shifting do you want to do
I didn't like 18/46 (3rd gear thru traps); i liked 17/46 alot (4th gear traps), but I like 17/51 even better (5th gear traps)

Go to www.ironjungle.com and download the GearCalc program.
Very useful utility!

As long as your right at or slightly beyond your shift point, you're geared pretty close. Low gears can make it a pain getting in the gas in first gear but it should require less clutch slippage.

17/46 (-1 front and stock rear). Results in my signature. Stock motor, stock wheelbase. All you need is a 17T front to start with dont go crazy until you really need it.
