If you only had my luck....
I got my busa running yesterday, turbo and all. Accel Gen7 dfi and MSD MC4 fired right up, no hiccups at all. Good air fuel, pretty lean at idle and cruising. No mapping yet, just rode it around the block to make sure no leaks and everything is working oK (electronics and such). When I turn the bike off and roll it forward its making some clicking noise. I thought it was the chain, nope, pulled the clutch cover, clutches? Nope. Pull the lockup, the clutches, the hub, the basket, nope. Guess what, the main shaft on the tranny had a bearing go bad, so it has a bitch of a time turning the mainshaft. So I have to pull my motor and split the cases on my just finished crank, carrillo, piston, bearing install. Mind you, all my turbo and everything was just hooked up hours before I had to tear it back apart! And I didnt even get to put in on the dyno! Oh the humanity! Another week of waiting for a part! GRRrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

That's a terrible story ARH, I feel for you. Here's hoping the performance and reliability of the motor will make you forget all about the crap you went through to get it together.

Ooooohhhh Man....That really sucks....I feel your pain.
It doesn't seem that bad if the problem is contained in the valve cover or head but.....when you have to split the freeking cases again....What a pisser!!!
But...It is a worth it in the end!!

actually you should be grateful! you were not on the dyno, running the piss out of it and not hearing the bearing trying to seize up! or going down the track and having it shred itself!!

That was hard to hear! Did you look or suspect "Anything" while it was apart? At least you can take the bottom case off without taking the top end apart!

i didnt suspect anything, the bearing didnt get onto its dowel pin in the right orienation which caused a crush bearing install, lol. Its not a big deal really, it was just kinda difficult and clunky to turn the mainshaft with the clutch basket off. The roller pin bearing just feels like it has dirt in it. Hopefully I will get my new bearing on UPS today Lets hope I get to race this weekend....
My MSBC isnt here yet so Im gonna be rolling one boost level and trying to go fast :
