Well if you can't sell it, race it.
Well since I could not sell my ZX12 and the racing season started last weekend I went racing. On Thursday night I decided to change my oil and check my clutches, all was fine. Same clutches installed last June.
Saturday race I thought was cancelled due to 3 days of rain, But no the race is on. lost in the 2nd round on a double break out by a little .004. Oh well T/O's the rest of the night.
Sunday Big Bike only drag race at Mo-Kan so load my bike and head on down, never been there and it was a nice day.
The weather was nice about 55 degrees and a slight wind out of the north at about 10 to 12 mph. So I get there about 10:45 and unload the bike and head for the staging lanes. 1st pass was nice 9.38 right lane 2nd pass in the left lane was better at 9.29 and all was right with the world.
First round had me go up aginst a Honda with a 14.40 dial to my 9.38 bam won with a 9,44 off the gas pass. Third round I got to race a V-Rod, double break out with him going .300 faster than his dial I take the win.
When there were 10 bike left they paired us up I got the mid 80's Suzuki he took off and when he hit 2nd gear zing went the motor due to his clutches went out. 5 bikes left I get a KZ650 set up for drag racing. I caught him at the timing lights and rolled out bam another win. 3 bikes left I get the bye to the final round, the 2 bikes left were a KZ1200 drag bike running low 10's and a 2003 Honda Goldwing running 12.90, sorry to say the Wing lost.
Final round I dial a 9.35 to his 10.15 we both had bad R/T but he could not run the number 10.51 so when I caught him I rolled out 9.44 and took the win and my $1000.00 in Cash Home.
So does the Doctors bike run?? Damn stright it does..
PMRA race this weekend and God willing I hope to repeat this past weekend.

LOL..!!! Hell yea, that paid to keep it. 5 more of those and it is a wash!! you can keep her for life!!
