I ordered lowering links, adjustable side stand, and -1 front sprocket from spencercycle.com today.

Doug was great to deal with. He said he'll have the radial caliper-brackets in a week.

Hopefully, I'll be in the 9's at 145+mph next weekend. . .

I can see 148 in the big end. I had an 01 1000 that ran 148 but I was only running 10.40's in the 1/4. You have more time to get there. I was running 9.90's piped at 151mph.

I dont see why this bike would not do the same or better than my old 01 GSXR 1000.

yeah, nobody is doubting that it can't be done, hell, I think some have seen it in person by now, BUT, it's that 112 1/8th on the same run. It's hard to compute.

Hmmm... I WILL say that my best 1/4 mile trap speed by far has a pretty low 1/8th mile trap speed in comparison.

Most of my runs are high 115, low 116mph 1/8th mile traps, my normal 1/4 mile trap is low 144.

I had a 145.8mph come from a run that had a 112mph 1/8th trap.

For me the faster my 1/8 then the faster my 1/4...

1/8 - 120.56

1/4 - 149.88

OEM motor, wheelbase, mods. listed below, 100ft. above sea level, 55 degrees...

Yea, I don't get it. My speedo shows 152 mph through the traps.

On one run, I left it in 3rd to see what the rpm would be. It clearly went to 13,500 at the traps. According to:

http://www.bikeland.org/board/viewthread.php?FID=19&TID=11595&set_time=

13,500 in 3rd is 152+ mph.

But. . . the timeslips say 139. . .

Remember, trap speed is the average speed over the last 66ft of the track.

If you're going 140mph at the beginning of the trap, and 144mph at the end, then your trap seed would be 142mph.

Tonight i witness chris williams run a 9.80's on a all stock zx10. just lowered and straped. But we all know he is the king on a 600. But the only thing he was it doesnt want to stay down. I watched his run's and he was not coming up to far only about 2 inches or so but you have to think when it comes up you have to hold it or let off a lil. But i am sure in the next few weeks he will be in the 50's. Also tonight my best friend ran a crazy 9.17 on his 04 gsx1000 with only full micron and a lil magic he says.
