TeamFatAss moseying on down the track
Seems like my lock up is finally getting dialed in; back-to-back 1.47 60's by launching at 4-4500 rpm and nailing clutch & throttle. I have some other gremlins, but 60/330 is getting better.
I got lucky w/the track photog got an action sequence
#1 staging; cock that elbow, ole man!

yep, no mo' snap & slide; rather snap & pin; but I haven't gotten it perfect yet. I'm not pinning it right outa the hole, quick roll into WOT about 20' out. My damn right hand is a chicken; i tell it to pin it immediately and the sumbitch mutinies on me.
The unsettling part is that I had no idea the f wheel was being carried all thru 1st. I didn't feel it lifting at all...
Soon as i get to the bottom of my motor gremlins I will be back at practice.

I think you still have at least an inch you can lower it? I will zoom in and check it closer?

Zoooommmmmmmm! Dr Atkins is helping me, but I'm still TFA-qualified!
MM,
I can lower the back about an inch if I cut the "tail" off the lowers. I don't want to lower the front anymore because i've taken out my oil pan & header pipe once already and dinged em a couple of other times.
dean,
best so far is 8.842 @ 157.4; but that was on a "shitty" 60' of 1.529. Good cool air that night. I should have been in 8.7's that night but traction went away when the sun went down.

Karl, how much air did you have in the rear and get those bastidges to put down the VHT to the 1000ft.

CR,
I went down to 14psi back in Feb when I got the 8.84, but in the winter Houston's high humidity often puts slime on the track when the sun goes down. They put a ton o' VHT on the track, but slime wins out unless there are a bunch of big tire cars running.
