MM, APE springs and Ti Retainers (Through Randall) are a good deal. They have about 15 pounds more seat pressure

I checked with both and APE could not give me the open nor seat pressures
the Kibblewhites are 60-70 in the seat position and 180-200 in the open position. depending on the cam's.

Mike are the springs a swap out deal for install or do you have to shim them to get the right seat pressure

they come with their own shims. so you swap out the entire kit for your springs. kind of plug and play!

Mike, did you figure out why you had to re-shim your valves the first time?
Price on the retainer?
I already ordered the springs for schnitzs, probably APE.
but didn't get the retainers, What are the advantages of the ti retaines.
I know they are lighter, but with heavier springs and stock rpm limit
are there any real advantages?

No never did figure that out? very weird nothing explaines it. and the main reason for getting the retainers in my book are the fit to the springs and the walls that hold the shim are more secure and all of the way around. I would not put a set in without the Ti-retainers! for sure!

I got my Titanium retainers from Schnitz and the upgraded valve springs from Lee's. I think the retainers are on schnitz's website.
