Hi from Finland!
I'm looking 9,5 / 150+ next summer. New mods are +3" swingarm, dry shot about 40 hp, Yoshi EMS whit light whit sifter and the most important would be off cource my new paintjob, matt black whit green flames!
Until now my best time is 9,90 / 147 mph, only mod was Akra pipe and one inch drop.

with those mods you'll be doing 9.4's by June!!! Forget the 9.5's, think about 9.3's!!!!!!

Ok Entropy, hope yuo are right! Because there are some turbo gsxr coming to next summer.
What kind of times you have got whit this kind of mods?

Just hoping to get started
I haven't even drag raced yet (ever!). I just hope that my schedule works out where I can get to the track a few times. My first goal is into the 9's. You gotta start somewhere! I have a stock motor 12R with pipe/PC3R/Links.
Clutch upgrades come next.

My set up was never exactly like you are running, so I am no expert. I've seen several 12's with stock arm, lowered, piped but no motor work get into the 9.5's. Best I could do was 9.63. It wasn't till I got the 6" arm and 1361 that I dropped below 9.5.
With 3" added to your arm, and 40hp of N2O, it would seem you could do 9.3's IF, IF, IF you get good 330's. Launching and getting it thru 1st gear is 99.5% of making a quick pass (for me).
How much do you weigh???
PS: Does Finland really have a summer???

My weigh is about 170 lbs whit leathers and helmet.
And we really have summer in here ,but the driving time is about 7 months only.
